British Pol Apologizes for ‘Clumsy’ Joke About ‘Going Into Harvey Weinstein’s Bedroom’

Michael Gove, UK environment secretary, apologized today after cracking a Harvey Weinstein joke on the radio.
What was the joke? Well…
Going into the studio is “like going into Harvey Weinstein’s bedroom – you hope to emerge with your dignity intact” Gove on #Todayat60

Clearly this did not go over well, considering how just last night more actresses came out alleging additional horrific behavior from Weinstein, including an allegation of violent rape.
Gove subsequently took to Twitter to apologize:
Apologies for my clumsy attempt at humour on R4 Today this morning -it wasn't appropriate. I'm sorry and apologise unreservedly
