Caitlyn Jenner Will Not Be Charged for Fatal Car Crash

jennerCaitlyn Jenner will not be charged in the car crash she was involved in back in February that left one dead.

Jenner was slapped with two lawsuits for alleged negligent driving, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department had recommended manslaughter charges.

But today prosecutors decided not to charge Jenner in the other driver’s death, claiming not enough evidence to do so.

Investigators concluded that it could not be proven that Jenner’s actions were “unreasonable” in any way, and so she won’t be charged.

An attorney for Jenner released a statement saying, “We believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing. We are heartened the district attorney has agreed that even a misdemeanor charge would be inappropriate. A traffic accident, however devastating and heartbreaking when a life is lost, is not necessarily a criminal matter.”
