Chris Matthews: What Is It Exactly That Makes Sarah Palin And Christine O’Donnell So Similar?

Since Tuesday the media has done double-time comparing newcomer Christine O’Donnell to Sarah Palin. On his show yesterday Chris Matthews wanted to know just what is it that makes these two so similar! “Is it the way they look? What is it?…Same style of dress perhaps? That thumbs up thing?”

Matthews goes on to note that both have explained their reasons for service in “colorful ways.” Indeed. Also, O’Donnell seems to have similarly taken her battles to Twitter, though thus far her spelling needs slightly less deciphering than Palin’s. Anyway, in an effort to pin down just where the similarity lies (Bill Maher for his part thinks the dissimilarity is that O’Donnell is nice and Palin is mean) Matthews provided a short montage of hairstyles, outfits, and ‘you betcha’ speech excerpts.
