Cleveland Cop Under Fire for Helping Browns Fan with His Beer Bong

A Cleveland police officer got in trouble this week; not for shooting anyone, not for any shocking assault video, but for actually being a bro. This cop was caught on camera holding up a beer bong so a Browns tailgater could use it properly.

Here’s the picture in question:

The timing of this isn’t really helpful, because according to WKYC, Cleveland police are trying to crack down on tailgating at Cleveland Browns games.

The president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association, Jeff Follmer, said, “Sometimes, officers try to fit into their work environment, meaning no harm or diminishing the esteem of the police department.” (“Fit into their work environment,” in this case, means “helping a dude with his beer bong,” presumably.)

Now, it’s unclear exactly when the photo was taken, but it’s expected he will be disciplined.
