Clinton Invites FBI to Review Emails Found on Abedin’s Laptop: ‘There Is No Case Here’
During a rally today, Hillary Clinton said the FBI is free to look through the emails they found on her top aide’s computer, though they’ll come to the same conclusion they reached about her before.
Speaking in Kent, Ohio, Clinton addressed the revelation that FBI Director James Comey discovered emails on Huma Abedin‘s computer that might be relevant to the probe on her private server. Clinton and her team have been hitting back at Comey for spreading insinuations without providing new information, but today, she said that “by all means” the FBI can proceed with their review.
“I’m not making excuses. I’ve said it was a mistake,” Clinton said, referring to her actions as secretary of state. “And now, they apparently want to look at emails of one of my staffers, and by all means, they should look at them.”

Yesterday, the FBI obtained the warrant they needed to look through Abedin’s computer and separate any potential Clinton emails from their review on Anthony Weiner‘s sexting. Even so, Clinton brought back the FBI’s previous decision about her activities, and said she doesn’t believe the new development will change anything.
“I am sure they will reach the same conclusion when they looked at my emails for the last year. There is no case here,” Clinton said.
