CPAC Attendees Boo Chris Cuomo as Video of CNN Schlapp Interview Plays Before Trump Speech

Prior to President Donald Trump‘s big speech today, CPAC aired the video of CNN’s Chris Cuomo clashing with ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp last night.
The most contentious part of the interview concerned Cuomo confronting Schlapp over Trump’s lies, telling Schlapp, “He said he didn’t have anything to do with Jared’s clearance and he did. He said he had nothing to do with the hush money payments and he did. He said 2 million people voted illegally and they didn’t. He lies all the time!”
The reaction to anything from CNN playing at CPAC was, well, unsurprising:
A good amount of audience members lustily booing @ChrisCuomo’s face appearing in the intro video clip package before Trump speaks onstage this morning at #CPAC2019

Now they’re booing Chris Cuomo.

Some of the crowd is booing on-screen Chris Cuomo when he notes that Trump lies, citing examples like his denial of knowledge of the Stormy Daniels payment and his wild false claims about mass voter fraud. Some shouts: "Youuu lie!" "CNN lies!" "FAAAKE NEWWWS!"

While CPAC crowd waits for Trump, a chant of "Fake news! Fake news!" breaks out. Why? They're airing last night's @ChrisCuomo interview with @mschlapp in which Cuomo repeatedly calls Donald Trump a liar. After the segment is done, a man screams, "CNN sucks!"

Laura Ingraham, meanwhile, asked why CPAC was showing it in the first place:
Why is @CPAC playing an interview where @ChrisCuomo is ranting on about how @realDonaldTrump is a wanton liar…before the president speaks?!
