Dallas Sheriff’s Deputy Who Entered Duncan’s Apartment Admitted to Hospital

Texas health authorities confirmed that they had isolated a man with ebola symptoms, who had also been in contact with recent ebola victim Thomas Duncan.

“Right now, there are more questions than answers about this case,” Texas Health Resources said in a statement.

According to Jake Tapper, the unnamed patient was a Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputy who had “expressed concern” after entering Duncan’s apartment last week.

Duncan passed away this morning, a little more than a week after he was admitted to a Dallas hospital.
