Dead Ebola Patient’s Fiancée to Write Memoir

Thomas Duncan died in Dallas mere weeks ago, making him the first person to die of Ebola in the United States. And now his fiancée, Louise Troh, is set to write a memoir about Duncan and the relationship they had.

Troh signed a book deal with Weinstein Books and is being described as her account of “the love of her life and the father of their son.”

Duncan and Troh were engaged to be married when he contracted Ebola and passed away. Days after he died, Troh publicly spoke out in a statement saying, “I am now dealing with the sorrow and anger that his son was not able to see him before he died. This will take some time, but in the end, I believe in a merciful God.”

The book is set to come out next April.
