Dem Rep. Clyburn: ‘Obama Will Be Impeached’ if GOP Holds the House

Impeachment isn’t looking like a terribly likely prospect (several reliably conservative House members have publicly expressed opposition to taking such a measure), but Democrats have been going all-out with it, warning of impeachment all over the place. And now one prominent House Democrat is saying if the GOP holds the House in November, Obama will be impeached.

Clyburn tweeted this out in response to someone’s question about potential impeachment.

.@LiberalPhenom No way to shut down the talk, nor should there be, it's real and I predict if GOP maintain House, Obama will be impeached.

A recent study of impeachment mentions on the House floor found that Democrats said the I-word 86 times compared to the Republicans’ four.
