Towards the end of Wednesday night’s broadcast of CNN Tonight, anchor Don Lemon found himself in the middle of an entire panel of yelling guests. And he ended up providing the perfect description for what it felt like.
Panelists Charles Blow and Ben Ferguson went at it over the FBI raid of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s home, with Ferguson saying Blow personally wanted the Manafort issue to be directly tied to the Trump campaign. This led Blow to respond that Ferguson seemed to be psychoanalyzing him, causing the rest of the panel to pop off.
With all four guests shouting at this point, Lemon made the following observation: “I feel like we’re in a bar.”
That didn’t really seem to faze the panel, though, as they kept going, leading Lemon to say “stop” a whole bunch of times to talk radio host John Fredericks in order to interject a point.
So, all in all, just another fun-filled night on Lemon’s set.
