Donald Trump Also Met With Vogue’s Anna Wintour Yesterday

anna wintour shutterstock_510607144Yesterday, Donald Trump shocked the press and the country when, after canceling a press conference, he found the time to meet with Kanye West. The two supposedly had a friendly discussion, and West left with a souvenir.

As it turns out, that’s not the only celebrity meeting Trump had that day- ABC News reported he also met with Anna Wintour.

Trump seems to like the famous Vogue Editor-in-Chief. In 2013, when she was being considered for an ambassadorship, he praised her. During the 2016 election, however, Vogue officially endorsed Hillary Clinton, despite never having endorsed a candidate in its history, saying:

Vogue has no history of political endorsements. Editors in chief have made their opinions known from time to time, but the magazine has never spoken in an election with a single voice. Given the profound stakes of this one, and the history that stands to be made, we feel that should change.

It’s unclear what Wintour and Trump talked about, though a source told ABC’s Candace Smith that it was a “range of issues.”
