Donald Trump Deletes Tweet Using Star of David to Call Hillary ‘Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!’

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump continued his presidential pivot Saturday by deleting a tweet that featured a meme of Democratic rival Hillary Clinton emblazoned with a red Star of David containing the words “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!”

CNN’s Trump beat reporter Jeremy Diamond captured a screenshot of the tweet, and posted it on Twitter:

After deleting the tweet, Trump posted a new version of the same meme, this one featuring a red circle instead of the Star of David:

Trump’s misstep comes just as the FBI is wrapping up its investigation into State Department email practices, including a just-concluded interview with Hillary Clinton that lasted about three hours.
