Donald Trump Joins Palin in Slamming O’Reilly: ‘Very Deceptive Journalism’
Bill O’Reilly said in a Fox promo earlier this week that Sarah Palin and Donald Trump, two reality show stars, would make the 2016 GOP race a “reality show” if they ran. Well, Palin was none too happy with O’Reilly and publicly scolded him, on Fox, earlier this week.
But yesterday, Trump also got his digs in at the Fox host, siding with Palin and scolding O’Reilly for his “very deceptive journalism”:
Surprise, @oreillyfactor used my name big league in pre-ads to promote the show—then talked about everyone else but me!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 28, 2015
.@SarahPalinUSA was 100% correct when she stated that @oreillyfactor used us in day long tease to get people to watch, but we were not on!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 29, 2015
.@oreillyfactor – bad and very deceptive journalism. Show must be heading in wrong direction, too bad! @SarahPalinUSA
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 29, 2015
And yes, Trump is right. O’Reilly did not talk much about him or Palin; he only referred to them in passing, talking about how they’ll have a harder time building a 50-state organization than the other, more serious candidates.
For the record, O’Reilly had responded late yesterday to Palin, but not to Trump.
You know, it’s really a shame they’ve grown apart after this great moment:
