Elon Musk Accuses Steve Bannon of Being in Epstein Files in X Post to Roger Stone

The feud between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk back with a vengeance, and the X owner seems to be enjoying the MAGA outrage at the White House over the Epstein files — tweeting up a storm Tuesday and lobbing an accusation at a key ally of the president.
What was once a bromance between the world’s richest man and the world’s most powerful developed cracks during the tumultuous tenure of Musk’s work with DOGE and then exploded over Musk’s vociferous opposition to the Trump-backed “One Big, Beautiful Bill” Act. Meanwhile, Attorney General Pam Bondi and other key White House officials are getting swamped with backlash over the Epstein files.
Or, more specifically, the lack of Epstein files. Years of conspiracy-infused accusations about the convicted sex trafficker’s purported client list and other damaging information he and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell supposedly knew about powerful men — fueled by promises from people now in very high positions in the Trump administration — drove MAGA anticipation to a fever pitch.
Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon has had a rocky relationship at times with the president but has been a staunch ally recently, undoubtedly due in no small part to the last-minute pardon Trump issued at the end of his first term related to wire fraud and money laundering charges for the “Build the Wall” scheme.
It should be noted that Bannon has made his allegiance clear in the Trump vs. Musk spat, trashing Musk as a “parasitic illegal immigrant” and urging Trump to deport him.
Over the years it has been reported that Bannon advised Epstein on how to respond to the allegations against him, provided media training, and recorded hours of video footage with Epstein for a documentary that has never been released.
Musk took aim at these facts Tuesday, replying to an X post by Roger Stone — another beneficiary of a Trump pardon — that mentioned Bannon’s reported meetings and coaching sessions with Epstein.
“Bannon is in the Epstein files,” Musk replied.
A sampling of other posts related to Epstein in the past two days — which Musk either wrote himself or re-posted to his account — are below.
UPDATE 3:00 pm ET: Musk has continued to post about Epstein through the afternoon, making accusations and vowing that releasing the Epstein files would “rank high” on the priority list for the political party he is forming.
