Ex-CIA Chief Brennan on Trump Meeting Putin: ‘What Might He Be Hiding’?

Former CIA director John Brennan criticized President Donald Trump again today over his one-on-one meeting with Vladimir Putin, wondering what the President is “hiding” to be having this meeting without others in the room.

Why did Trump meet 1 on 1 with Putin? What might he be hiding from Bolton, Pompeo, Kelly, & the American public? How will Putin use whatever Trump could be hiding to advantage Russia & hurt America? Trump’s total lack of credibility renders spurious whatever explanation he gives.

“Why did Trump meet 1 on 1 with Putin?” Brennan asked. “What might he be hiding from Bolton, Pompeo, Kelly, & the American public? On CNN yesterday, Brian Stelter said of the 1-on-1 meeting that we’ll never truly know what was said in there because neither leader can be trusted.
