Fox’s Geraldo Rivera Erupts on Hannity Over Migrant Caravan: ‘What Are You Gonna Shoot ’em, Sean?’

On Monday night, Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera fought it out with Sean Hannity and Sebastian Gorka after defending the thousands of Central American migrants headed towards the U.S. southern border.

The three were discussing Rivera’s op-ed for Fox News on the caravan, in which he proposes a solution to the crisis. Rivera argued that most of the migrants are just desperate refugees searching for a better life, and Hannity was adamant that they cannot be allowed into America.

“We won’t let them in,” Hannity said. “Not this way. We have a sovereignty and border issue here.”

“What are you gonna shoot ’em Sean?!” Rivera asked. “What are you gonna do with the Army there? Bayonet them? What are you gonna do?”

“No. They need to be stopped in Mexico,” Hannity responded. “Are you going to just say come on in and never vet them?”

Gorka got into the fray shortly afterwards, saying “This is really beneath you. Geraldo.”

“Don’t give me that beneath me stuff!” Rivera shouted back. “Don’t give me that crap! Don’t you insult me!”

The two continued to slug it out over what it means that the military is getting involved with the border situation. This evolved into an equally-tense discussion on whether the countries of Central America can be expected to resolve the plight of the displaced migrants before the U.S. has to take action to ensure safety.
