Glitter Bomb Goes Off in GOP Rep’s Office

Republican Congressman Jeff Fortenberry‘s Nebraska office got hit by a glitter bomb this week, reportedly planted by someone who was none too happy about Fortenberry’s stance on abortion.

According to the World-Herald Bureau, Fortenberry’s aides in the office were hit by the glitter bomb. Fortenberry himself was in D.C. when it went off.

A Fortenberry spokeswoman said the note included with the glitter bomb read, “Congrats, you’ve earned this for trying to deny women their right to choice. Mind your own uterus.”

And this is not the first time glitter bombs have been used against Republican politicians. During the 2012 campaign, Rick Santorum got glitter-bombed twice; Mitt Romney got hit once.
