‘Had Tremendous Run’: Drudge Tweets Seeming Obituary for Bill O’Reilly

Amid reports that Fox News is getting ready to announce Bill O’Reilly won’t be returning to the airwaves, Matt Drudge has taken to his seldom-used Twitter.

Seemingly, he came to elegantly bury Caesar O’Reilly. Okay, there was a little praise, but it mostly reads like an obituary for the embattled host’s career. And when Drudge speaks on something like this, you ought to listen.

O’Reilly has been accused of sexual harassment and has reportedly settled with at least five women for at least $13 million. Calls for Fox to drop him have been loud and clear as physical demonstrations have happened outside of their office headquarters and companies have yanked their advertisements from his O’Reilly Factor time slot.

Does Drudge know something that hasn’t been announced? When it comes to conservative media, the answer is far more often yes than no.
