James O’Keefe Clowned So Hard That Even Netflix Dunked On Him on Twitter

The Washington Post reported today that political prankster James O’Keefe and his sting organization Project Veritas tried to fool the Post with a fake story about a Roy Moore accuser. A woman working for O’Keefe told WaPo reporters that the embattled Alabama GOP Senate nominee impregnated her when she was 15, leading to an abortion.
After the Post exposed O’Keefe’s failed attempt to get them to publish a false report, media Twitter had a field day pointing and laughing at the conservative provocateur. But it wasn’t just reporters and journalists having fun at O’Keefe’s expense.
Even Netflix got in on the action, straight dunking on the political activist:
If you want more information on the power of due diligence when reporting a major news story, Spotlight is now streaming.
— Netflix US (@netflix) November 28, 2017
The Academy Award-winning Spotlight is a film based on the Boston Globe’s “Spotlight” team that brought to light the widespread instances of child sex abuse being committed by Catholic priests. Coincidentally, the editor of the Globe during that investigation, Marty Baron, is now the editor of the Washington Post.
