Jon Stewart Ridicules Political Pundits And Their Flawed Preliminary Election Narratives

 

Cable News political pundits are paid to provide their opinions on upcoming elections. Since no one yet has proven an ability to consistently predict the future, very often these individuals look to each other for themes and storylines, which sometimes can be well off-the-mark. Enter The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart whose job appears to watch said political pundits, then mock them when they are wrong, to the delight of his adoring fans.

In the run-up to the primary elections held on Monday, viewers of cable news programming were told of an angry voter base which made no incumbency safe. But it turns out in a rather shocking development, the reality was rather significantly different than that which was predicted by said pundits. Enter Stewart, who knows better than to just bloviate on what might happen in the future. His job is to make fun of those who do.
