Kellyanne Conway: Hillary Was Way Quicker to Blame the NRA Than to Denounce Weinstein

After former Democratic presidental nominee Hillary Clinton remained silent for days following the the New York Times’ bombshell report of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct — leading to widespread criticism — the ex-First Lady released a statement saying she was “shocked and appaled” by the revelations. Clinton’s statement came out following a blockbuster New Yorker piece alleging Weinstein had raped at least three women.
This afternoon, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway decided to ding the former Secretary of State for waiting so long to issue a statement condemning the longtime Democratic donor by comparing it to the length of time it took for Clinton to slam the NRA in response to the Las Vegas shooting.
It took Hillary abt 5 minutes to blame NRA for madman's rampage, but 5 days to sorta-kinda blame Harvey Weinstein 4 his sexually assaults.

Conway would go on to retweet others who criticized the lack of reaction from both Clinton and former President Barack Obama.

HRC spoke for 90 mins last nite, didn't mention Harvey Weinstein. She won't give women a "pass" for not voting for her, but she gave him one.

Interestingly, when the Trump campaign was trying to weather the storm of the Access Hollywood tape that captured the current president bragging that he could grab women “by the pussy,” Conway pushed back against descriptions of Trump’s behavior as “sexual assault.”
