‘Let Me Tell You Something!’ Trevor Noah Goes on Full-Throttle Anti-Trump Rant
On Wednesday night’s The Daily Show, host Trevor Noah took the gloves as he went on an impassioned tirade against Donald Trump and his anti-immigrant rhetoric.
As Trump continues to run a platform based on expelling undocumented immigrants and banning Muslims from the country, the Daily Show host has continually made it clear that he’s had quite enough of the real estate mogul’s antics. In a blistering rant, Noah smacked Trump on everything from his refusal to release his tax returns, his braggadocios personality, and for ignoring major contributions that were given to America by immigrants and their descendants.

“Let me tell you about the greatest country in the world. The greatest country in the world is the country that accepts people who come in from everywhere in the world, Mr. Donald Trump. And I know you think half the country is a ‘basket of deportables,’ yeah, I said it, ‘deportables,’ not ‘deplorables,’ but the good people of America know the greatest country in the world is the country where you can come in and create anything.”
Noah also noted that Steve Jobs‘ father was a Syrian migrant, and that were it not for his son being born in America, there would be no iPhone for Trump to “tweet sh*t about the refugees on.” Noah also told Trump to let it “soak into [his] stupid hair” that America is great already, and that the fact that Noah was asked to succeed Jon Stewart is just one mark of how that’s true.
