Lewandowski, Trump Spox Reportedly Got Into Loud Public Argument

lewandowskiThere’s a report out tonight saying that two high-level Donald Trump campaign staffers got into a pretty public shouting match in New York last night.

According to the New York Post‘s Page Six, Corey Lewandowski and spokeswoman Hope Hicks were apparently fighting about the announcement today that Trump convention manager Paul Manafort would become chief strategist and campaign chairman.

One witness said, “They were arguing how the announcement about Manafort taking more responsibility would be handled. There is an internal struggle to define what Corey’s role would be.”

Another relayed that Hicks apparently shouted “I am done with you!” at Lewandowski as “she was doubled over with her fists clenched.”

There have been a bunch of shakeups in the Trump campaign in the last few weeks, with Manafort coming on in the first place and Lewandowski’s role being shifted.
