Limbaugh’s Explanation for Trump’s Attack on Khizr Khan: He Doesn’t Understand How Liberals Operate
Rush Limbaugh reacted to Donald Trump‘s attacks on Khizr Khan and his wife today by saying that he only did it because Trump “doesn’t see ideology.”
Yes, Limbaugh was arguing that Trump isn’t a very ideological person, and so “he will never understand the method, the motive” of the things that liberals do, and so he can be “outfoxed” easily.
Limbaugh was not defending Trump’s attack, as he made it clear that Hillary Clinton should be the target, not this family, but did say “the real story here is the way Democrats treat parents of war heroes and victims versus the way they treat Republican parents of war heroes.”
He referred to the Khans’ speech as a clear “set-up” and “standard operating procedure from the Democrat party” that Trump didn’t see coming.
Limbaugh also explained away Trump’s implication about Ghazala Khan not speaking by saying “he has a message about Islam” that supersedes all else sometimes.
