Lindsay Lohan on Working With Donald Trump: ‘If You Can’t Beat Him, Join Him’

Lindsay Lohan did a Facebook Live interview with The Daily Mail last week, and she’s got some thoughts on working with President Donald Trump. Specifically, she’s been spending time in Turkey with Syrian refugees, and she says “Turkey is doing a lot, and that’s why I wanted to try and get the word out to Donald Trump to kind of, bring him over there and have him see all the positive things that they’re doing and how America can help as well.”
When asked if she’d sit down with the President to talk about ways he can help, she said “Yeah, just broaden his ideas of it because he hasn’t been there… And show America in the right light helping refugees.”
Talking about the current backlash against Trump, Lohan feels that people need to try to work with him. “He is the president. So, you have to join him. If you can’t beat him, join him.”
“I think it would be a positive thing for America to show their care and support, and for him to experience what it’s like for these people…experience how giving Turkey has been to the refugees and how many they have welcomed in.”
In the interview, Lohan also discussed the rumors that she has converted to Islam as well as a possible Mean Girls sequel.
