Lindsey Graham Goes Off on ‘Over-The-Top’ Media Coverage of Kim Jong Un’s Sister

Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, has made something of a media splash during her time at the Winter Olympic Games. CNN wrote a puff piece on the woman, suggesting she was “stealing the show.” The New York Post wrote that she “charmed” her neighbor, South Korea, during her visit. Even the venerable New York Times wrote that she “turned on the charm” and took the spotlight from Vice President Mike Pence.
Well, you know who has had it up to here with Kim Jong Un’s sister receiving effusive praise from the American media? Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC,) that’s who!
Graham took to Twitter to make his discomfort known, first outlining what could be at stake on the global stage.
That’s when he went in for the kill, accusing the media of laying it on way too thick.
Kim Jong Un has to be tremendously pleased with the coverage his sister — Kim Yo Jong — received from the international media.
Frankly, the coverage has been over-the-top.

“Frankly, the coverage has been over-the-top,” he wrote.
Graham wasn’t finished. He wanted to provide a counterpart to the glowing praise she has been receiving in the media by pointing out the cost of said praise.
It’s important to remember that her lifestyle – comes at the expense of the North Korean people.
North Koreans are systematically starved, tortured, and raped by the thugs of the Kim regime — Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) February 12, 2018
“North Koreans are systematically starved, tortured, and raped by the thugs of the Kim regime – which she is a leading member of – to maintain power,” he wrote.
Finally the tweetstorm, of a sort, ended by Graham reminding readers that she comes from a tyrannical family.
To call her and the Kim regime anything less than a tyrannical family and killer does the world community at large – and the people of North Korea suffering under their rule – a great disservice.
