Listen: The Moment Anthony Scaramucci Called Reince Priebus a ‘F–king Paranoid Schizophrenic’

Listen to the phone call that ended Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci‘s time at the White House.

Scaramucci, who held his position for just 10 days, was on the phone with New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza when he made vulgar comments that led to his firing a few days later. According to the recording, Scaramucci called Lizza to find out who leaked him some information about who was at a White House dinner. When Lizza wouldn’t tell him, Scaramucci got heated and went uncensored.

The Mooch can be heard making comments like, “Reince is a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” “Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the fucking thing and see if I can cock-block these people the way I cock-blocked Scaramucci for six months,” and  “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock.”

Scaramucci claimed he did not know he was on record, and said in a tweet that he shouldn’t have trusted a reporter. Lizza, however, says Scaramucci knew he was on record.

The reaction from the White House was supportive at first. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Scaramucci was just “very passionate about the president.” According to an Axios report, Trump said he did not have a problem with the interview, saying he “loved” it.

However, a few days later Scaramucci was fired, and it was this interview that was to blame. Sanders said in a press briefing that the firing was because “the president certainly felt that Anthony’s comments were inappropriate for a person in that position.”
