Man Escaping London Bridge Attack — with Pint in Hand — Symbolizes London Spirit
As live images streamed across cable news and live streams during last night’s terror attacks in London, there is one image that has captured the indomitable spirit of humanity. An unnamed man escaped an area of danger while still keeping his nearly full pint of beer safe for later consumption.
Why has this gone viral? Because the British people are known for their “Keep Calm and Carry On” spirit. And given the horrible news — so soon after the suicide bomber attack in Manchester — it is refreshing (reaffirming?) to see someone maintain humanity in the face of evil.
Twitter loves it, to wit:

This man paid London prices for a pint. He was not going to let the #LondonAttacks stop him from enjoying it.
