Mary Matalin Accuses U.S. Gov’t of ‘Anti-Semitism’

During an interview with Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg Thursday, GOP political consultant Mary Matalin spent some time praising Israel’s actions in its war with Hamas in Gaza and going so far as to accuse the U.S. of being “anti-Semitic” in its Middle East policy.

“If it weren’t for the Israelis, the Syrians would be nuked up today, this would be a hold different world,” Matalin said. She described Israel as representing the “last bastion of stability, freedom and hope for that entire region” and that the Israelis stand for “the respect and dignity of each individual human being.”

“The anti-Semitism — I’m kind of loathe to call it that, but I don’t know what else to call it — that is having our government mimic the attitude of the UN is heartbreaking,” she continued. “It’s shatteringly frightening, it really is.”

“I couldn’t agree with you more,” Malzberg said.
