McCain Blasts Obama on Ukraine: ‘Most Naive President in History’

Senator John McCain laid down the gauntlet today on Ukraine when he called President Obama “the most naive president in history” over how he’s handled relations with Russia during his presidency. During a radio interview Thursday, McCain said the level of “naiveté” from the president in dealing with Russia throughout his presidency has been “stunning.”

McCain brought up Obama’s open mic comments two years ago that he would have more “flexibility” to work with Russia after his reelection.

McCain warned that the violence in Kiev “could easily spiral out of control into a major international crisis,” and went point-by-point listing all the issues in which Vladimir Putin has asserted his doinance on the world stage, and called for sanctions in order to send a message.
