Miami School Principal Loses Job for Defending McKinney Cop Online

copThe principal of North Miami Senior High School, Alberto Iber, lost his job after posting on Facebook about McKinney. He watched the video and posted the following message:

“He did nothing wrong. He was afraid for his life. I commend him for his actions.”

Well, according to The Miami Herald, the comment got lots of online backlash and the school (at which 99 percent of the students are minorities) said he has been removed as principal and has been moved to other administrative duties.

Superintendent Alberto Carvalho said, “Judgment is the currency of honesty. Insensitivity — intentional or perceived — is both unacceptable and inconsistent with our policies, but more importantly with our expectation of common sense behavior that elevates the dignity and humanity of all, beginning with children.”
