Michael Moore Implores Twitter: ‘Leave Piers Alone!’

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore is vigorously defending Piers Morgan this week for his outspoken opinions on American gun control. A sad Moore Tweeted, “Leave Piers alone!”

Morgan has been the subject of several White House petitions in response to his controversial comments on gun violence. One suggests he should be deported “immediately” for his “effort to undermine the Bill of rights,” and another requests that he stay in America because “no one in the U.K. wants him back.”

Moore, no stranger to controversy himself, not only came to Morgan’s defense but also indirectly praised him, saying, “So sad that the host on American TV to speak out the loudest against this madness is not one of us, but a Brit.”
