Michael Moore’s Latest Flick About ‘TrumpLand’ Will Screen for Free Tonight in NYC

If you’re in New York, head to the IFC Center tonight at 9:30 for a free screening of Michael Moore‘s new movie, Michael Moore in TrumpLand.

In The Hollywood Reporter today, there is an announcement about the movie, which is an iteration of his one-man play and will begin its theatrical run tomorrow. Although his play never got its run in Ohio as he wanted because it was “banned” by the theater he selected, he revamped it into a film that he has been teasing online as an “October surprise.” Here is the synopsis:

See the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down. Oscar-winner Michael Moore dives right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election.

Moore’s understanding of Donald Trump‘s campaign has proven very thorough. He predicted that the business mogul would be the GOP nominee back in December. He is no fan of Trump’s, but he does know a thing or two about this election, so his film should be further proof of that.
