Milo Yiannopoulos Threatens to Sue The Observer Over His ‘Gun Down Journalists’ Threat: ‘Your Life is Over’

Milo Yiannopoulos is threatening to bring a lawsuit against The Observer after his recent anti-journalism rhetoric was connected to yesterday’s deadly attack on the Capital Gazette.
The political provocateur recently drew a lot of attention after he told Observer reporter Davis Richardson that he “can’t wait for the vigilante squads to start gunning journalists down on sight.” He took this up a notch when Mediaite‘s Amy Russo asked him to elaborate on his remarks, and he responded by warning that journalists who critique President Trump “did this to yourselves, and you deserve what’s coming.”
When the Capital Gazette came under attack yesterday, there was a great deal of public outcry as people accused Yiannopoulos and others of encouraging violence towards reporters. The firebrand defended himself in a Facebook post, saying he doesn’t regret his comments, that it was supposed to be a “private joke,” and that the media was concocting hysteria over his “troll” remarks.
Now The Wrap media editor and Mediaite alum Jon Levine has learned that Yiannopoulos is threatening vengeance on The Observer and Richardson over the outrage coming his way.
