Mitt Romney Delivers Pre-Buttal To Mitt Romney On Individual Mandate

On the heels of the Supreme court’s decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act, the Romney campaign announced that Republican nominee Mitt Romney will deliver his reaction to the news at 11:45 am. Fortunately, Mediaite was able to obtain video of Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney reacting to the passage of the individual mandate, which he has supported as a national policy, and which was the basis for President Obama‘s health care reform law. “With regards to the individual mandate,” then-Governor Romney said, “the individual responsibility program that I proposed, I was very pleased that the compromise between the two houses includes the personal responsibility mandate. That is essential for bringing the health care costs down for everyone and getting everyone the health insurance they need.”
