Nevada Rep’s ‘Ordinary American Family’ Hold Guns In Christmas Card

Republican Nevada Rep. Michele Fiore previewed her family’s annual Christmas card on her personal Facebook account. The catch? Except for three little ones, everyone is packing some serious heat.

“It’s up to Americans to protect America,” read the post. “We’re just your ordinary American family.”

Fiore, who is a boisterous proponent of the Second Amendment, signed the post off with “love & liberty.”

For the coup de grâce, Fiore included information in the top left corner of the card about what weapons were pictured, as well as who was holding them. Fiore’s oldest grandson Jake, who Talking Points Memo reports is 5 years old, is seen holding a Walther P22 — the smallest caliber gun pictured.

This isn’t the first time Fiore has made national headlines before. Last year, she defended Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy on MSNBC. This past April she garnered attention for suggesting that pimps in control of sex trafficking rings should be castrated.
