New Poll Finds Majority Think Hillary Lied About Emails, But She’s Still Ahead of Trump

PicMonkey-Collage-Trump-Clinton-300x197-300x197A whopping 60 percent of people in a new Fox News poll say that Hillary Clinton is lying about her emails, but she is still ahead of Donald Trump.

Yes, that is 60 percent of people polled by Fox saying Clinton lied, along with 57 percent who said said she put national security at risk.

Yet in a head-to-head match-up in this very same poll, Clinton beats Trump 42-39. (The Fox poll last month had Trump leading by 3.) If you throw Libertarian Gary Johnson into the mix, Clinton still wins with 39 percent to Trump’s 36 to Johnson’s 12.

(And yes, before you ask, Bernie Sanders beats Trump by a wider margin, 49-38.)

Both Clinton and Trump got low marks not just on favorability, but on a whole host of things, including that they both lack integrity, can’t get things done to solve the nation’s problems, etc.

49 percent of those polled think “crooked Hillary” is a fair characterization of Clinton, while 43 percent of those polled agree with Clinton’s characterization of Trump as a “fraud.”

And in looking at the bigger picture, while 47 percent say the primary process has overall been bad for the Democrats, a whopping 66 percent say it’s been bad for the Republicans.
