New York Post Lampoons Chris Matthews With Cartoon: ‘I Love Disasters!!!’

Friday’s print edition of the New York Post lampoons MSNBC host Chris Matthews for his controversial post-election on-air revelation that he was “so glad” we had Hurricane Sandy last week because of what it did for “good politics” and for President Barack Obama‘s re-election.

In the Page Six section of the newspaper today, the Post ran a cartoon showing Matthews, in studio, hugging President Obama, elated over his electoral victory:

The bubble above Matthews reads: “Why wouldn’t I be glad about Hurricane Sandy? I love disasters!!!”
