New York Tabloids ‘Lock Up’ Tiger Woods Coverage

The collective conscience of the New York City tabloid editorial departments are at work this morning. After news broke yesterday that Tiger Woods would be giving his first press conference (coffee klatch conference?) tomorrow, everyone wants to lock Tiger Woods up! Tiger on the loose, etc.

I have to imagine the person most relieved to hear this is Gov. David Paterson who was probably anticipating some level of cover chaos after yesterday’s NYT A-1 story. Let’s just hope tomorrows presser does not result in another 30 straight days of Tiger.
