Newly Obtained Document Shows ISIS Reportedly Permits Organ Harvesting

ISIS flagA document obtained in a raid by U.S. special forces shows that ISIS is reportedly allowing the harvesting of captives’ organs.

According to Reuters, the document says it is completely fine to take healthy organs from apostates and transplant them into the body of a Muslim “in order to save the latter’s life or replace a damaged organ.”

The document even notes that “it was ruled” by fatwa that the life and organs of an apostate are not protected. There are actual guidelines as to which organs can be removed.

There’s no indication thus far that ISIS is engaging in organ trafficking, but Iraq’s U.N. ambassador told Reuters this should be investigated.

The document was uncovered during a raid back in May that led to the retrieval of lots of ISIS information.
