No, This Guy Wasn’t Smuggling Drugs into Prison During Fox News Report
Something incredible happened during Greta Van Susteren‘s On the Record last Friday night.
While covering the ongoing story of the two prisoners who escaped from the Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York, reporter Molly Line stood just outside the prison walls. She and Van Susteren were busy discussing this and that, but nobody really cared because an unidentified person in the background appeared to be smuggling contraband into the prison.
Don’t believe me? Then check out the viewer-recorded video that’s been making the rounds online, with priceless commentary and all:
In a feat of real-time journalism, Van Susteren’s camp received countless emails, tweets, and Facebook posts from viewers who noticed the apparent “bag drop.” So they checked into the matter and brought up the issue later on in the program.
The result of the short investigation? Turns out, it was a “legitimate delivery.”

True to form, right after Van Susteren described the act as a “legitimate delivery,” she delivered the Fox News brand per protocol: “We report, you decide.” Are they trying to encourage Clinton prison conspiracies among viewers?
