NORAD Weaponizes Santa in Fight Against North Korea
NORAD, the North American aerospace agency which publishes an annual Santa Tracker every year, decided to get in a dig at North Korea via tweet:
Santa just tracked over Pyongyang, North Korea. Though its leaders may be naughty, the children are still nice. @NoradSanta
— NORAD & USNORTHCOM (@NoradNorthcom) December 24, 2014
Unfortunately for NORAD, the North Korean religious doctrine of juche dictates self-reliance and the rejection of any supernatural figures not related to the Kim family, so ha, NORAD. North Korea doesn’t even believe in the capitalist myth of Santa!
(And because Santa is a symbol of Western decadence, the children of North Korea are probably receiving DVD copies of The Interview.)
