NRSC Chair Cory Gardner: If Roy Moore Wins, ‘Senate Should Vote to Expel Him’

Senator Cory Gardner, the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, is drawing a line in the sand on Roy Moore.

Minutes after Beverly Nelson came forward with a serious allegation about Moore sexually assaulting her, Gardner put out a statement saying even if Moore wins, the Senate should vote to expel him:

Just a few days ago, after the Washington Post‘s report dropped, the NRSC severed fundraising ties to the Moore campaign.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has not gone that far yet, but today he said Moore should step aside.
