NY Post Reporter Challenges Alec Baldwin to Fight: ‘Why Don’t We Settle This Like Men’
Alec Baldwin tussled with a number of reporters and paparazzo this week as they covered the trial for his stalker, including the moment when he dropped a homophobic slur. New York Post reporter Kevin Fasick was one of the people Baldwin got tough with, and Fasick is now suggesting the actor and MSNBC host put his money where his mouth is and fight him for charity.
The piece Fasick wrote Saturday morning certainly provokes Baldwin enough, calling him “the emptiest wagon of them all” and “the Bloviator.” He recounts how Baldwin “bellowed” at him and then “charged like a bull, pushing me into a parked car” before insulting him and threatening to beat him up a little bit.
But what Baldwin didn’t know was that Fasick was trained by professional boxer Smokin’ Joe Frazier, and Fasick’s pretty confident he could take Baldwin in a fair fight.
But rather than making scenes on the street, why don’t we settle this like men — and do something right in the process.
Meet me in the ring, Baldwin. All for a good cause.
We can raise some cash for GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) — a group I am sure you support.
I’ll even let you throw the first punch.
And if you broadcast it and put it in the timeslot Baldwin’s MSNBC show occupies, it might actually get some viewers.
