Obama Makes Unannounced Visit to U.S. Troops in Afghanistan

According to pool reports, President Barack Obama arrived unannounced in Kabul, Afghanistan Sunday, a surprise visit to American troops on Memorial Day weekend:

The stop comes in advance of American troop withdrawal from the embattled country, but also as the Department of Veterans Affairs is embroiled in a scandal over secret waitlists.
