OK Man Charged with Threatening to Kill Harry Reid
An Oklahoma man has been charged with threatening to kill Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Charles Moreland was charged by federal prosecutors with sending multiple threatening, profane emails to Reid containing rather disturbing threats made against him and his family.
The federal complaint alleges that Moreland sent various death threats to Reid, including one in which he called the Nevada Democrat a “dead man.”
The emails also reportedly contained warnings like if he ever “steps foot out of D.C. he will be done” and that unless he steps down from office, he’ll “face stern, harsh, unimaginable consequences to him and his family.”
Reid received death threats over his opposition to what happened months ago on Cliven Bundy‘s ranch.
