Oprah Suggests She’s Rethinking Presidential Run After Donald Trump’s Win

In an interview with Bloomberg Tuesday, talk show host and entrepreneur Oprah Winfrey hinted that she was reconsidering a presidential run after seeing Donald Trump‘s unlikely win.

“Have you ever thought that given the popularity you have — we haven’t broken the glass ceiling yet for women — that you could actually run for president and actually be elected?” asked Bloomberg’s David Rubenstein.

“I actually never thought — never considered the question, even the possibility,” Winfrey said. But after Trump’s win, “I just thought,’ Oh,'” she said, sounding intrigued.

“Because, it’s clear you don’t need government experience to be elected president of the United States,” Rubenstein offered.

“That’s what I thought,” she responded. “I thought, ‘Oh gee, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough.’ Now I’m thinking… ‘Oh.’”
