PETA Calls for Truce with Sarah Palin, Featuring Vegan Caviar

After several days of truly unnecessary tit-for-tat over a Facebook photo, the irascible animal-rights organization PETA called for a truce with reality TV star Sarah Palin.

The fracas began over a photo Palin posted New Year’s Day of her son Trig using the family dog as a stepping stool to reach the sink. PETA flipped, causing Palin to issue one of her patented Facebook rants, accusing them (or libruls in general) of hypocrisy.

On Monday, PETA responded:
