Photo Pence Tweeted From Today’s Colts-49ers Game Is Actually From 2014

Earlier today, Vice-President Mike Pence sent out a series of tweets declaring that he had left today’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers due to players kneeling during the national anthem.

However, prior to those tweets, he sent out one stating that he was “looking forward” to cheering on the Colts and honoring Colts legend Peyton Manning. He also included a picture of him and his wife in the stands wearing Colts gear, making it appear he was tweeting it from today’s game.

However, as one could tell from the picture he later tweeted out showing him standing for the national anthem, Pence wasn’t wearing the outfit seen in the earlier photo:

Why is that? Because that earlier tweet included a pic he had already posted to Twitter — in 2014.

With the media already speculating that Pence walking out of the game was a pre-planned moment, something that President Donald Trump seemed to all but confirm in a tweet he sent out this afternoon, Pence posting this old picture as if it were from today will only add to the skepticism.
