#PoorDontVoteBS: Sanders Gets Blowback from Hillary Fans Over Comments About Poor People
Bernie Sanders is getting some serious Twitter blowback for saying on Meet the Press this morning that he’s not winning “because poor people don’t vote.”
It was pointed out to Sanders in other interviews today that poor people in a number of states went for Clinton over him, and since last night (when NBC released the clip), Clinton fans have been tweeting with the hashtag #PoorDontVoteBS, which briefly trended:

Sanders has argued that not only is turnout low, but people across the country are being disenfranchised.
